About Us We met in college and have been together ever since. Sensing that we had the rest of our lives to spend together, we maintained a three-year long-distance relationship while Vlad attended law school and Jessica began graduate school.  We have been married for 16 years and a happy couple for 24. Each year we celebrate the anniversary of our first date in addition to our wedding anniversary! Our long-awaited biological daughter Sophie has been a delight to parent. We are eager to grow our family and know that open adoption is the path for us.  If your child joins our family, he or she will be welcomed with open arms and hearts and the same love and commitment we bring to parenting our biological child. Sophie looks forward to loving and playing with a new baby. She can’t wait to be a devoted and caring big sister.
